Job Description
The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring product quality through robust control mechanisms, driving process adherence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires strong analytical skills, ownership of end-to-end quality processes, and the ability to implement and sustain 5S and quality control standards across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Quality and Control Matrix Develop, implement, and monitor quality control metrics to ensure products meet company standards and customer expectations.
Identify areas of improvement in product quality and work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.                          Ensure compliance with industry and company quality standards across all production stages.
Business Analytics
Analyze quality-related data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
Generate reports and dashboards to communicate quality metrics and insights to stakeholders.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain 5S and Quality Control
Ensure the implementation and ongoing adherence to 5S practices to promote workplace organization and efficiency.
Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with quality control procedures and 5S standards.
Train and mentor team members on 5S principles and quality control processes.
End-to-End Ownership of Quality
Take full accountability for the quality function, from raw material inspection to final product delivery.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
Proactively address quality issues and work to prevent recurrence through structured problem-solving
methods.
Process Adherence
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure process consistency.
Monitor and measure process compliance across the organization.
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in mobile sector
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in business analytics tools
In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and standards.
Experience in implementing and sustaining 5S practices. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
